About Me

Nailing it, finally nailing it

I am a writer from Québec. I lived for five years in permanent cyclonomadic mode. Riding the day and writing the night, to coin a phrase. But now, I've been staging in Languedoc for 30 months, preparing for a huge tour. The ultimate tour, one might say. The tour of a lifetime. So I'm trying to finish my works before I point the handlebars at the road. Novels, songs, etc. A lot of stuff.

I've been seriously ill since february 2012. Hopefully, I'm finally rising out of it. Soaring to good health. Hopefully. But I've been less meticulous about answering and hosting since that ordeal started.

My place in Sauve has become a bonafide recording studio during the last year. The guest room is downstairs from the control room and the place where musicians actually play is another floor up, but be warned, lots of rock n'roll here during business hours.

The list of my future projects include biking in Greece, around Scandinavia, across Cuba, along the Silk Route and also... Around the globe.

En affirmant que la neige va fondre au printemps, je ne nie pas l'existence de l'horizon, je la célèbre.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

I can host here in Sauve, where I'm settled down for a while.

When you receive me, I'll cook one of the two recipes I master, bring drinks, or sing you the blues in whatever key makes your clock tick.

When I receive you, we'll walk around and drink wine. If you're into that stuff, we can also jam. I have three guitars here.

The mix of wild cyclocamping and couchsurfing is a fantastic way to travel, to explore, to have a blast and to live.
