ABOUT ME

I'm very outgoing when meeting new people, and enjoy talking to people and listening to their experiences. I am a polite and considerate person, my parents raised to be so since I was a little girl. I can also really enjoy time to myself and am able to entertain myself, though when traveling I am generally looking for a more social experience.

PHILOSOPHY

I try to keep in mind that "you don't know what you don't know". This silly saying reminds me that I can't always understand another person's experiences but that I should continuously be trying to expand my understanding of cultures and people. I greatly value a quality friend and pride myself on being one myself.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When I was living abroad in fall 2011 I went to numerous events in Berlin and met a lot of couch surfers. I haven't technically hosted anyone, but I did show some people around the city who contacted me through couch surfing.

Interests

I enjoy ultimate frisbee and would love to play in numerous countries. I like a lot of different things, from rock climbing to bad reality tv. I really like adventurous activities. I also enjoy reading, swimming both casually and athletically, meeting new people, and running.

And of course I love meeting new people!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went sky diving with my brother after I turned 18. It was a thrilling experience that I do recommend.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to share my skills as an ultimate frisbee player. Throwing a frisbee can be a casual activity on the lawn or an intense tournament around the world. Frisbee has such an open nature and is ruled by "the spirit of the game" which I think meshes well with traveling and sharing things among those of different cultures. The people I have me tin this community are amazing. Conversely, I would love to learn more about a lot of different areas, such as rock climbing or hiking.
