We're just here. Existence before essence. And we live in these complicated language games that help create and structure the world. And we have our narratives and our myths that we wrap around our fragile egos like blankets. And its all pretty sad but wonderful, and so very enjoyable and pleasant sometimes.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I back packed through Europe for 3 months and had many good experiences through CS. A few times CS meet ups were the only place I found much needed social interaction and interesting conversation.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I met a hand full of friends through couch surfing in Nashville. I've met a beautiful girl from Austria, and a philosopher from France, and a funny kid from Brazil.

I'm a multi disciplined artist. I love music. I make animated films. Drawing and writing are the largest and most consistent parts of my creative practice. I like books too and dumb tv.

Alright, I got it narrowed down, the two best books I've ever read are The Ignorant Schoolmaster by Jacques Ranciere, and Suttree by Cormac McCarthy.

I've seen the grand canyon. I've ridden my bike drunk at three in the morning down an empty highway. I've kissed a girl I loved. I've watched the rising sun reflected in the glass surface of a lake. I've seen the moth crawl out of its cacoon. I've seen a man die while his watch continues to tick. I've seen the colors of the world reel down a long hollow tube and vanish in a moment of grief. I've seen the parades and parties.
