About Me
Hi! I’m an easy going, friendly, responsible person looking to make new connections, share travel stories, and learn about new cultures and share a laugh with a new friend. Strangers are just friends you haven’t met yet :). I’m a naturally very happy, positive person I’ve been told.
I love animals, especially cats and dogs. I also love learning to cook, reading self help books, scrapbooking, music, longboard skating, hiking in beautiful locations, and beach volleyball.
I went on a solo vacation to Hawaii 2 years ago… and never left! 3 weeks turned into 2 years. I fell in love with tropical Hawaii and canceled my return flight home. I have volunteered at farms through Workaway In Hawaii and Ireland since I love animals. Couchsurfing is a great way to make new friends- I made 2 friends couchsurfing then we proceeded to backpack Asia together for 3 months and reunite a year later in Germany!
Summer 2023 I backpacked Asia- and summer 2024 I backpacked Europe and found couchsurfing to be a phenomenal way to get to know the locals! I made so many new local friends which I’m grateful for. I absolutely love it and it fills my heart so much traveling and seeing new places daily, meeting amazing new people, and beholding such gorgeous views of nature! I’m truly in awe of the beauty of our world, and nothing makes me happier than traveling :).
My upcoming plan is to travel around Asia, then Latin America for a few several months then eventually move abroad. I’m so excited to be marking so many bucket list experiences off my list! I’m on a tight budget since I’ll be traveling for so long, that’s one reason I’m trying to couchsurf- to save money, but primarily I want to meet people, connect with them, learn from them, and talk about our travels and interests :). I still keep in touch with several previous hosts with plans to revisit them again.
I'm a tidy and responsible person and I’m willing to help out if needed too! Whether that be washing your dishes, cleaning etc.
Looking forward to adventuring with you!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m on couch surfing to learn from other people and hear their travel stories and adventures and any other life tips an experienced traveler can give. :)
I love when locals show me cool hidden gems that aren't super touristy.

I love 90’s rock, rap, and country. I also like oldies like Elvis/Dion & the Belmonts etc. I enjoy indie music as well and am very open to learn new music! Since I’m trying to learn Spanish, I loooove hearing new Spanish songs to add to my playlist! I love seeing how much my playlist changes after each trip abroad :).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Swam uncaged with sharks in Hawaii! 🦈
Teach, Learn, Share
I’m trying to learn Spanish, so it’s a huge bonus if we can make beginner Spanish small talk. I’m also learning to cook more, so would love to cook together.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share good conversations about life and traveling and any other topic we may have in common- I love recommending travel destinations and affordable travel options like volunteering on farms. I can also teach you how to country dance, basics of guitar, how to edit and make Instagram reels, photography basics, how to scrapbook, basics of skateboard longboarding, and how to juggle :)
