Hello! I'm currently a business student studying Information Systems in the U.S. My dream eventually is to work in media design. I'm working as a waitress to get through school but I also do a ton of community service and have a passion for helping people. I also LOVE food. I've traveled around the United States to a ton of different cities and hiking spots, and I also traveled around Italy with my parents in 2014.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm going on a trip to France, Germany, Switzerland, and Spain with my best friend. I'm a broke college student so I'm trying to save money but I also want to meet and interact with as many people and learn as much I can from them! I want to make this trip as much of an adventure as I can, I've heard this is a great way to meet people who really know the area and can share and pass on knowledge and experiences that will really make this trip memorable.

-FOOD! I'm always looking for new local restaurants and dishes to try
-Hiking: I drive up to the Shenandoah Valley all the time and hit some amazing trails
-Community Service: I'm the Philanthropy Director of a big organization on campus so I'm always planning/participating in food drives, garden planting, street clean-ups, etc. I also have gone on mission trips to rebuild homes in New Orleans, Tennessee, and West Virginia.
-Family: my parents and 2 brothers and I are extremely close
-Art: I studied art for 4 years in school, its a huge passion of mine

I want to learn absolutely everything I can. About art, culture, politics, customs, food, etc. I love hearing people's stories. One of the most memorable times on my trip to Italy was when I was staying in Vernazza and I got to hear the life stories of so many locals.

I'm a bubbly adventurous person and I always have something to talk about, and my best friend that I'm travelling with is even more talkative than me. I love sharing stories and interacting with people I don't know. I'm new to travelling, so I have a lot to learn but I'm also willing to help with anything I can.
