ABOUT ME

I'm working on a PhD in math at Cornell. I grew up in Connecticut. I do a lot of painting with acrylics-I have a few under photos actually. I love a good beer, preferably a hoppy IPA, a Belgian ale, or a coffee stout. I love to party. I like to cook. I can sing/play a few songs on a guitar.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Brand new.I decided I should try this couch surfing thing because my roommate is pretty into it and it's been a lot of fun having people over. It seems like such a great community and such a perfect way to travel and so I'd love to be part of it.

兴趣

I'm very interested in art. I've been doing a lot of acrylic paintings recently. I'm hoping to get a larger body of work going and maybe one day start selling my work.As far as my PhD in mathematics goes, I study algebraic number theory, but I haven't started my research yet- I'm still taking courses and learning background material.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

one time in Montreal a perfectly shaped snow-flake landed on my glove- it looked like it had been cut from paper.

I can paint and I've been thinking of buying some smaller canvases for others to use when they visit because I had a few people over one time and we went out on my roof and drank some beer and had a little painting party and it was a lot of fun.

I also play a little guitar and sing, but I only know a few chords so if you play guitar and can teach me more that'd be fabulous!

I'm also always down to exchange recipes! I don't eat most meat though- only chicken, turkey, and fish.
