As a former expat, I know the importance of experiencing new places from different perspectives and learning local culture through developing relationships and meeting new people. I have a passion for culture and languages and all things define us as individuals and also bring us together at the same time. I like to think of myself as a global citizen and think that our differences are what make life interesting. Note: If you request to stay with me it’s important to me that you let me know why you’re coming to Annapolis and why you would like to stay with me. If the only reason is that you are trying to save money, then you’re missing the point of CS and I’ll decline. I get lots of requests. I’m super busy and have a lot of obligations, hobbies and friends, so I’m not interested in being a cheap stay hostel.

In Ylläs in Lapland near the North Pole, I saw the Northern lights while I was riding a snowmobile through the forest. The snow and the silence was deafening. That day we had cross country skied and seen many reindeer as well. The Northern lights were the icing on the cake.
