As an expat, I know the importance of experiencing new places from different perspectives and learning local culture through developing relationships and meeting new people. I have a passion for culture and languages and all things define us as individuals and also bring us together at the same time. I like to think of myself as a global citizen and think that our differences are what make life interesting!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Being in Costa Rica there were several instances that were awesome, including white water rafting on class 5 rapids, ziplining through the cloud forest, and watching a volcano erupt at Volcan Arenal.
In Ylläs in Lapland near the North Pole, I saw the Northern lights while I was riding a snowmobile through the forest. The snow and the silence was deafening. That day we had cross country skied and seen many reindeer as well. The Northern lights were the icing on the cake.
Swimming with the dolphins in the Red Sea in Egypt last Christmas was great. I didn't know that we could get that close and they just came right up to our boat.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'd love to cook you a nice meal or exchange stories about travels! If you're into it, we can talk music, politics and renewable energy and other things that interest you. I am super curious, so I will probably be asking most of the questions!
