ABOUT ME

I am a high energy individual. I love sport, I like to party, go for coffee, food and simply enjoy hanging out with people. Networking is my thing. I love ideas, especially those worth sharing, watch TED! I'm passionate about community based projects, social upliftment and improving South Africa. I love meeting new people and growing my ever increasing network of friends. I'm wacky at times, but mostly a pleasant person.

PHILOSOPHY

Do everything you want to in life, as long as you respect those around you along the way as best you can. Work hard, play harder. Turn work into fun and never work a day in your life again is my life goal! Bring people together. Create goodness where ever possible. Live Love Life!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm just starting out. So for now I'm tentative about having people stay as I don't really have a big enough couch yet. But am working on that, so hopefully in the next week I can update this. I'm also coming to the Philippines soon and want to meet up with some people there. I don't want to ask for a couch until I have one to offer, just me :)

Intereses

I really enjoy learning and teaching. I love to bodyboard (surf) and play field hockey, they are my favourite forms of exercise. I love getting to know new people, where they are from, how they came to be there and everything in between. I love formulating business ideas about unconventional ideas. I really enjoy networking and helping others out!

Algo increíble que he hecho

I setup a Facebook page and used it to raise $8,000 for a man I barely know to get an operation to save his life, all done in 3 weeks. The love shown by a community for a man we all barely knew has given him life and reassured my optimism in society and humanity! Awestruck!

Sitting on Gili Trawangan Beach watching the sun set, realizing that Bali and Lombok and the islands between are simply one of the most beautiful places in the world and I'm really lucky to have been able to experience this first hand.

Finding out that it IS actually possible to get good waves in South Korea... for everything else there's Master Card! :)

Enseña, aprende, comparte

Not sure what goes here. I can teach you about South African income tax, but doubt that'll be on your travel list. I know a fair amount about northern Pohang, which is not readily available in English, so when I have a couch come check it out and I'll show you want the... wait there's no guide book! :)
I want to learn about everything I possibly can. Chemistry to language, Culture to risk mitigation strategy. If not why not! :)
