ABOUT ME

I've never really settled into one place my entire life. Although I've stayed in several cities for years at a time, my mind and my heart were always somewhere else. Growing up, my mother and I would take at least one road trip going somewhere new in the U.S. every year. This has contributed to my need for travel. I find that even when I can't travel, I'm making friends with those who are currently traveling. Most of the lasting friendships I've had have been with those who were or are studying abroad at the University I completed my degrees at. I love knowing that I have friends who also love to travel and Couchsurfing gives me an opportunity to keep making friendships like these.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When I'm home, I try to make my home as accommodating and friendly as possible. Although I know not many people come to Nebraska as a vacation destination, I'm always happy to host anyone!

While I was at college I would usually help international students and students from around my university in the form of comfy couches, beds, or just a random tea sessions with friends and a movie.

When surfing I hope to help out around. My specialty is probably cooking, and I love to just have a simple conversation.

兴趣

Roadtrips and travelling of all kinds, I love old things, and street photography. I'm a HUGE fan of food and learning to cook new things. I'm currently hosting a French book club and I've always been interested in learning about new cultures, even cultural differences from within the United States. I've been to all but 17 of the United States and when not roadtripping I spend most of my time at work and with my room mates and cat (whom I refer to as my family) so unfortunately, I rarely have time to myself. My spare time is spent relaxing, reading, skyping friends, and cooking.

I spend most of my days watching "boring" educational TV. Lots of documentaries and discovery channel is watched with my kitty Bb.
