About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To breathe in more than I breathe out

ABOUT ME

I'm a runner, a student, a romantic, a dreamer. I love my parents and my friends and even most of the random strangers I come into contact with everyday. I'm a health nut, and a nutrition tour guide. I absolutely love the outdoors, doing things that just so happen to make people raise their eyebrows...that must mean I'm living... things like rock climbing, running half marathons, or losing my shirt in the weirdest places and on the coldest days. I love urban sports and high adventure trekking and random "hey that looks like a cool hill" hiking. I'm very committed to my lifestyle, and my friends and family. I am constantly dreaming, dwelling on something called: adventure, and how crazy my future may be. My favorite thing in all the world are the stars, and being outside at night. I appreciate life more than I think a lot of people do. I appreciate fine dining, not so fine dining, great music, and "I just came up with this song half an hour ago" music. I love stories of any kind. I love mountains, and have this constant urge to find high places. I love climbing buildings, but always seem to have a hard time getting down. I'm addicted to running and chocolate chip oatmeal cookies. I'm all about passion. What is your passion? Without passion, life is unforgivable. And without it, life is undefinable. I'm not tall, 5'6" maybe, but can hold my weight if I need and want to. Regardless, I'm known as gentleman, a true friend, a listener, a romantic. Music does not define my life, but I believe I define music.

PHILOSOPHY

We do not know how far the ripples of our decisions go. We do not know the places we may be led if only we allow ourselves to be swept away every so often by something unexpected. I live to breathe in as much as I can. Something Russell Crowe once said in an interview caught my attention... "Breathe in more than you breathe out." I am extremely grateful for the chance and opportunity given me to experience things in this world that so many others are not able to. I was meant to do something great, something life-changing, something that will shake the foundations, and though I do not yet know what this thing is, of this fact I am sure.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

On a clear, warm, sunny day hiking atop the mountains of New Mexico, I was able to see a black wall of hail and ice advance toward us from over 60 miles away, over the valley far beneath us up the side of our mountain, and to where we were. The wall was in sight 10 minutes before it hit us, and we had just enough time to build a makeshift shelter and wait out one of the fiercest storms I'd ever seen, dumping over three inches of hail on the mountain. The whole ordeal was over in 15 minutes, and immediately after, the sun and clear sky was back as if nothing had ever happened. It was one of the most extraordinary and intimidating things I had ever experienced.
