ABOUT ME

I'm a student from Massachusetts, USA, currently studying abroad at University College London in London for a semester. I'm looking forward to exploring new places and meeting new people!

PHILOSOPHY

Soren Kierkegaard once said "The thing is to find a truth which is true for me, to find the idea for which I can live and die." This quote perfectly sums up my person philosophy; currently I am searching for this truth, and I'm enjoying every minute of it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm currently studying abroad, so unfortunately I cannot offer my own couch at this time. However, I'm really looking forward to spending time with people who actually live in the cities I visit!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

This is my first time couchsurfing, so I'm very excited to experience new cultures, ideas and people in a new way!

Interests

I really enjoy traveling, learning about other cultures, and learning new languages. I love reading, photography, spending time with friends and family and experiencing new adventures!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love the Harry Potter series (both the books and movies), Eat Pray Love, and Pride and Prejudice (among many other books). I listen to a wide variety of music, including everything from The Beatles to Maroon 5 to Carole King. I love movies, especially comedies. My favorites include Love Actually, The Sound of Music, Mona Lisa Smile, and Anchorman.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to Kenya this past summer to intern with an organization that supported women and children, and it totally changed my life. My eyes were opened to an entirely new way of life, and the stories I heard will forever be a part of me.
