I genuinely spend my free time on the boardwalk by the beach or taking long road trips up the coast. I have two nephews that live in Portland that I see frequently.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In the past, I liked the idea of couchsurfing as I could open up a safe place to stay for people as they travel abroad. That I could try and be a good representative for my country despite the impression it can give off at times.

Now, since there are apps that have filled the role of "affordable accommodation," I'm actually more excited to use this. I think the opportunity to find people who are really interested in connecting and giving you a look into their lives is more prevalent now more than any other time prior.

Music, Movies, and Books

Seems like there are only two kinds of people when it comes to books: those who read when required and those that do so voraciously. I'm a fairly slow reader, which may be why I never really fell into it.

I'm into trying out any kind of music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I took a really long road trip up the coast and then through the Canadian Rockies. Suffice to say, weaving along the roads through the mountains and glaciers is one of the most memorable experiences of my life.

Weird fact about me: I was a professional hypnotherapist at one point in time. I ended that and walked away with a really unusual story.
