Hi everyone. Thanks for your welcome. I am Marcia from Venezuela. I am a school teacher who has lived in Belize and Mexico the last three years. I have visited just few countries like France, USA, London, Canada, Curacao, Colombia and one city in Brazil. In my opinion, one of the most interesting activities is travelling and know people from different cultures.
As a language teacher I have had the experience to work with people of other nationalties like Scottish, British, Canadian and Belizian.
In my family we have people from other nationalities like Colombian, American and French.
My closest friends are from England, Venezuela, Mexico and Belize.
My country has been always open to receive people from everywhere. That is the reason a lot of Venezuelans have different origins, like Italian, Portuguese, Chinese, Arabian, Colombian, French, German.
So, I consider that mix really interesting to grow and get the better from different cultures.
For me, hospitality is one of the best features of the world citizens.
I think this website is an amazing idea and a great opportunity to share experiences, activities, hospitality, cultures, get new friends, and to promote your own country to travellers.
In my opinion, Couchsurfing gives an excelent opportunity to practice that human side for travellers and host.

Just right now I am living in Quintana Roo, Mexico. I hope to have my own place very soon to share with travelIers. I enjoy to practice my English with native or no native speakers. I can help with Spanish of course. At the same time I love to share my tips to visit interesting places here in Quintana Roo, how to buy food, how to know locals, and tips to feel at home in this beautiful Paradise.

I am moving one more time for a new job.
