I can be really funny and outrageous, or quiet and keep to myself. I love good people and unexpected experiences, but have no problem going it alone...Reasonable intelligence, your typical Irish story teller who enjoys a few pints and a laugh.
I'm always itching to see new places and meet new people

Every experience is a lesson; good or bad and every challenge is an opportunity, so hit the ground running!

Live your dream and love your life. You can do anything and thats not just a motto, its a way of life. An optimist never has a bad day (well, maybe one or two!!)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Haven't yet, lived in a one bed apartment in Whistler with 3 people so couldn't host! and now I'm at home in Ireland living with my parents. They are getting old and the thought of me allowing someone from the the internet into the house would send my dad running for his gun! (no gun, only joking, but they are pensioner parents!)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My friend Crystal told me all about the joys of CS, but I have yet to surf. Went on a road trip from Canada-America with Crytal, she found a really interesting guy called John from CS who traveled with us. Lost his contact details b4 I signed up here, really wanted a reference from him as he was a couch surfing slut for many a year!! So far, my two experiences have been positive experiences!

Centres d'intérêt

Travelling through this lifetime and meeting amazing, good people and seeing new things and I'll try nearly anything at least once. I love finding out about new cultures and involving myself in them.

Love to snowboard- spent two seasons in Whistler Canada. No point mentioning travelling (it nearly goes without saying on here!).

Started kite surfing at the start of the summer but alas the Irish summer didn't bring any wind.

Anything active, pubs are great but too many of my fellow countrymen spend their lives in them!So a bit of activity, mountain climbing etc and then the pub!

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

A-Z in all three categories! Independent films/ foreign films can be excellent (subtitles don't bother me).

Music taste is wide and varied (more chilled when on my own, electro/house when out clubbing). Live music can't be beaten. Best band I've seen live in ages 'Sigur Rós' an amazing Icelandic band at electric picnic 08 3 day music festival (Irish version of Glastonbury)

and I like autobiographies, not ones from football/TV starts! but real life stories of human struggles. Jack Eisner 'the survivor' is an excellent true story from WWII.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Drove across the desert to Las Vegas at the height of the summer without any air conditioning in my van( and no tinted windows!) It really is amazing to come out alive...I know I've done/seen better things but I prefer this stupid anecdote!
