About Me
ABOUT ME
I am a student at Whitman College, double majoring in sociology and music theory. I spent the spring semester of 2012 on an internship-based off campus study program in Philadelphia, working for an organization called the Poor People's Economic Human Rights Campaign. During the summer, I work at an art camp, teaching ceramics to children.
Interests
Music! I listen to as much music as I can - from various genres, but I'm most knowledgeable about classical. I play clarinet, piano, and guitar, and can sometimes be persuaded to sing. And I like reading about music (history and theory) as well.
Other interests include books, social/economic justice, cities, and food.

Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to read music, or, if you know how to read music but don't know much music theory, I can teach you harmonic or formal analysis. I can also teach piano, clarinet, or guitar basics to people with little or no experience on those instruments, though I'm not qualified to teach intermediate players.
I'd love to learn guitar techniques from a more experienced guitarist, as I am mostly self-taught on that instrument. I'd also like to learn how to bake.
