I'm Meche ("meesh") and I moved in July of 2022 with my partner to Tacoma, WA from east Tennessee. We are excited to be in the PNW and loving it so far! My background is in sustainable agriculture, garden/food education and nonprofit work, and I am now attending acupuncture school in Mount Vernon once a month.

We have a dog and a cat who both love humans.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'll be attending school up in Mount Vernon once a month and I'm in search for a place to stay regularly, but open to whatever folks can offer!

Interests

My dog is the sweetest and he is definitely my biggest interest (besides my partner).
I love hiking and being outside.

Music-- I play trumpet and a little guitar, and I sing a little. I love going to shows (folk, punk, rap, you name it)
I'm mostly working and going to school currently so there's also that taking up my time :).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've flown a plane-- it's been a long time, but my dad was a crop-duster in Louisiana and he would take us up and let us fly all the time.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would be happy to practice some tui na massage on anyone who wants it! It's a very gentle form of massage and it can be done over clothes, so it's really accessible and feels great.

I would love to practice my French as I haven't used it in years.
