Hi! My name is Medha and I am an easy going bloke from Melbourne, Australia. I am the guy in the pink shirt with glasses.

Between 9AM-5PM I am an infrastructure adviser, looking at demand and supply of infrastructure requirements for airports (think, terminals, roads, boarding gates and utility systems). I do some work with hospital planning as well.

For the rest of the day I am a serial Netflix binger, Game of Thrones enthusiast, sports tragic, newspaper reader and travel planner.

I have travelled a bit over the last 8-9 years and have almost always found myself alone or generally met other travellers. The thing I suppose I have been missing is the opportunity to meet locals who aren't just shopkeepers, taxi drivers or anyone where the relationship is transactional.

I am not really looking for a place to stay, but someone who can teach me about your way of life in your city/country. I am looking for your inside tip on restaurants, places to visit and nightlife. Or even just someone to hangout with.

Favourite Music: pretty much anything in the Top 40 on the radio with a special place for rnb, grime and hip hop. My favourites are the Weeknd, Drake and Rudimental.

Favourite Movie(s): Interstellar, Superbad and Alexander. Do love my TV shows though (GoT, Vikings, Peaky Blinders, Narcos, etc).

Books: Anything by Paul Theroux, William Dalrymple or Graham Greene. Currently reading a book called Lesser Beasts, which is a microhistory of the pig.

I have travelled by land from southern Egypt to Bangladesh over a 7 month period crossing all of the Middle East, Iran and the Indian Subcontinent.
