ABOUT ME

Im a new zealander currently travelling around europe. Before that i was living in england playing cricket. Ive had four summers in a row now so im looking forward to this winter. Im interested in sport, the outdoors, meeting people, new experiences and most of all at the moment travelling!

PHILOSOPHY

I enjoy drinking, but if i have learnt anything from university it would be not to waste your whole time drinking!!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Im keen to meet some local people a the places that i stay at. Hostels are awesome, but im finding that im only meeting other kiwis, as well as australians, canadians and a helping of americans. There is a danger that i wont meet many locals on my journeys

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Pretty much nil, didnt even know it existed until a month ago, and then at every hostel i stayed in people suggested the site to me, only just got onto joining up tho!

Interessen

I love sport, played cricket since i was a kid. Recently as ive travelled more i seem to be developing a love for tramping. Also really like poker. Oh and enjoy going to the pub and talking shit.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

My favourite movie at the moment is into the wild, i reckon that it is awesome and inspiring despite its tragic ending. Music, i have pretty wide tastes, and im usually happy to listen to most things! Books, i tend to do most of my reading while travelling, like on the train or the plane for example, im not really one of those people that reads for an hour in bed everynight.As far as tastes go, and this wont help but ill read anything that is good

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Um these questions are always difficult, i find it hard to think on the spot about this sort of thing. Earlier today i walked up surling, which is a mountain near place called fussen, on the austro\german border. The views up there were amazing!
