Planning a round the world trip in 2011/2012

ABOUT ME

Well i`m quit new here. I love the idea of CS and i`m really excited about the first "try".
I´m 23 years old, studied Business Administration and i`m ready to see the world now. As an open-minded person i really like to meet many different people and get to know more about different countries, cultures etc.
Right now i´m planning a round the world trip from july 2011 till mai 2012. I hope it`s all working out ;)

PHILOSOPHY

During my trips to Los Angeles (2004), Singapore (2006) and especially South Carolina (2009) i´ve learned to live my life as I want it and not like others expect it. Its my life, my feelings, my thoughts. I want to have as much fun as possible ;) But my friends are also very important to me and without them life wouldn`t be so nice.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As i´m not living alone i always have to discuss with my roommate whether the couch is available or not. But i`m trying my very best to convince him ;)

兴趣

I`m really interested in all kinds of sports - especially football. Not only as an observer ;) I played football as well as badminton for several years in a team. I also like meeting up with friends, having some beers and sometimes going out for party.
And of course i love to learn more about different cultures.

音乐、电影和书籍

I`m not so much into music or films. I really like reading but because of a lack of time i`m not able to read as much as i want to. But if there`s time i really like crime/polit/economic thrillers and stuff.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

When i had my social internship during school i worked at a workshop for disabled people. One of them was blind and had kind of a mental handicap. I was sitting next to him and we started talking. First of all about some "unimportant" stuff but after a while he startet like "There are so many people in the world dying because of hunger. They are soooo poor they don`t have enough to live. So that`s why i`m sooo happy that i`m such a lucky guy. I have everything I need in my life." After he said that i was like kind of shocked. That was definitely one of the biggest moments in my life and i learned so much from him. This happened about 7 years ago but i`m still really thankful for this moment.
