Hello everyone :)

I'm 26 years old and I live in Nuremberg, Germany. I'm studying film & photography at University. :) I have lived in Maryland for two years and worked there as an au pair. I had a great time! I loved learning about a new culture, living with a family and taking care of 4 wonderful kids everyday and travelling all over the country. I also spent half a year living in Ireland - as an au pair again. :D I just love making "new families" in other countries.
I'm a happy and outgoing person and very interested in every different country and culture that's out there in the world. I would love to get to know your culture and I'd be happy to tell you about mine. :) There's nothing better than talking to people who grew up in a foreign country with completely different experiences and believes and views. It's so interesting to hear what kind of things people see differently because they're from a different country. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My friends hosted some people at their place and they told me that they met very interesting people. Now I thought I give it a try and host people and show them around if I got the time. :) I had 2 couchsurfers so far and it was a lot of fun!

Interests

photography, drawing, animating movies, playing Guitar & piano, binge-watching Netflix, Youtube, meeting friends, watching movies, taking care of children (I used to be an au pair twice (USA & Irleand) and my mom has been a childminder for 22 years now and I grew up being surrounded by 4-6 children every day - helping my mum), reading books, music, travelling, and so ooon and oooon :D

I literally listen to anything, very much depending on my mood. (besides electro/techno-not a fan)
This includes Rock, Pop, R'n'B, show tunes! (Love a good broadway musical and singing along very loudly to the disadvantage of my poor, poor neighbors^^)
30 Seconds to Mars, Panic at the Disco, The Kooks, The Fray, The Script, Dear Evan Hansen, La La Land, movie soundtracks I literally listen to everything!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2012 I took the road trip I've dreamed of my whole life! My friend and I rented a car in Vegas and drove around the country. I know it sounds lame but looking in the rearview mirror in Vegas and seeing nothing but a long, long, empty straight highway and the mountains in the background was amazing! And of course the trip itself was a lot of fun and all the sights we got to see! :D
