Hello! It's hard to not be awkward here but I will do my best haha! My name is Meena and I'm originally from California, currently workin in DC. I'm excited to be on couch surfing and will be verified once my post card gets in the mail! I love socializing and travelling, and look forward to my upcoming trip to Europe!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Surfing! I am looking to couch surf in Paris and Amsterdam this winter. Activities! Plan on getting involved in the DC community when I get back from my trip in 2012. I would love to meet up for coffee!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't personally surfed yet but will be soon. I have heard great things about Couch Surfing from my friends and coworkers!

Music: Red Hot Chili Peppers, Sublime, Nirvana, Bob Marley, Thievery Corporation, Little Dragon, Four Tet, LCD Soundsystem (especially when the muppets are rocking to it), MGMT, Adele, etc.Movies: Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, Naked Gun, can't really think of names but I love movies that make me think and offer a new perspectiveBooks: Brave New World, The Sun Also Rises, 1984, Fahrenheit 451, Rules for Radicals, Memoirs of a Geisha, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A trip to Castle Lake, CA where I hiked through the Shasta area and happened upon this beautiful lake which still seemed to be untouched and unpolluted. Seeing places like that helps me believe there is still beauty in the world.
