About Me

I'm a 22 year old Singaporean. I've been living in Singapore all my life and I'm currently on an exchange Programme so I'm studying in University College Utrecht for the next 5 months. I'm planning on Travelling around Europe during these few months and I'm on a student Budget. Plus I'm Travelling alone for most of these trips so I figured that couch surfing is a best place to experience Travelling solo and meeting new people! Hahaha I Guess this answers the why I'm on Couchsurfing as well

Interests

I dabble in the guitar a little bit. I love taking photos. I was once one of the multiple Photographers for Youth Olympic Games in Singapore. They have some of my photos and my name up in the Olympic Park in Singapore. It's one of my biggest achievement.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm really open to all types of music. But my Favourite has got to be acoustic versions of songs and those that I can listen to while snuggling in bed. I have a playlist on Spotify called Sweater Weather and it's my most played playlist.

Same goes for movies. I watch any kind of movies. One thing about me is that I do not watch movie trailers because they contain spoilers. So most times I watch a movie without not knowing what to expect. I would only occasionally skim through the synopsis. My friends call me a hopeless romantic and I think it's because I've watched lots of rom-coms and chick flicks. I really horror movie but I've yet to find anyone who would watch it with me in the Theatres (all my friends hate horror. Idk why we're friends sometimes) so I've to watch it alone at home. Scaring myself late at night. I love comedy movies too but sometimes, the jokes aren't even that funny that it becomes a horror to watch. There's this saying my lit teacher used to say "Horror movies have become comedy and Comedy movies have become horror". She cannot be more true. Well except for some exceptions.

Books. Love it. I'm the type that read everything; back shampoo bottles, posters, advertisements on public transportation. I'll read any books that are recommended to me. And I think my all time favourite is To Kill a Mockingbird. I took it back in school and I can still remember quotes from it. It's how I've lead my life too tbh. Like how courage is knowing you will fail but begin anyway. It's a baby step but it's still a step nonetheless. You'll never know a person till you step in his shoes and walk around in it. It's such a great book really. And I always recommend James Patterson books to anyone who wants to read on mystery. I love how his stories twist unexpectedly.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hmm. It may not really be amazing to some but I did my internship as a flight Stewardess with Tigerair. It was one of my dream jobs while I was young and I'm Glad I was able to fulfill it. Plus there's where my love for flying and Travelling really start. I get to meet passengers from all walks of life and talk to them. Leonardo Da Vinci once said "Once you have tasted flight, you will forever walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward, for there you have been, and there you will always long to return.” Loved that quote.
