I love to meet new friends and the exchange of culture as well as learning more about anything and everything!

My goal is to see, experience, and learn from the World as much as I can! I am a simple person who enjoys adventure, making new friends, learning about a new culture, having fun, taking photos, deep conversations, creating unique experiences, and tasty vegan/vegetarian food!

I studied social work in my undergrad and worked many years with refugee and immigrant populations. My Graduate programs were Communications and Teaching English as a New Language. I now teach communication courses at Purdue University, high school equivilancy courses and English language learner courses for adult students through my local school district.

I live to travel and learn! I will travel anywhere, and enjoy seeing culture through the eyes and experiences of those who live where I am traveling. I love the CS community and the exchange of culture, hospitality, knowledge, and ideas. New friendships are born that may not have happened otherwise....its incredible that there is one website with so many wonderful people!!!

-Seeing the desert of Tunisia; meeting so many fun people!
-Teaching and working at a school in India!
-Seeing the Taj Mahal!
-Seeing Victoria Falls!
-Teaching Pre-schoolers in Korea!
-Volunteering in Zambia.
-Going to Zanzibar!
-Hot air ballon ride over Cappadocia, Turkey!
-Couch surfing and hitch-hiking in Turkey (Istanbul, Cappadocia, and Izmir)!
-Hitting the Balkan Route alone (6 countries)!
-Spending two months backpacking/couch-surfing and meeting new friends!
