I was born in California but grew up in Germany, New Zealand, and Spain. I study international management and psychology at university in Lugano, Switzerland. I love travelling, learning languages, playing sports, making music, and meeting people.

I have lived so many places that I have never felt one true home; but it's okay not to have a home because you make your home out of who you spend your time with when discovering new places in the world

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am interested in being a couch surfer and maybe hosting too. CS is a great way to meet new people and discover more about ourselves and the world we live in.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couch surfed in Oslo Norway, Zurich, Switzerland, and Rijeka, Croatia. I had a great time with my hosts and exploring the cities. It is much better having a local show you around. They know the best places.

I am open to showing someone around Lugano, Switzerland. Unfortunately, my couch is way too small to host anyone.

Interests

I love playing/listening to music, you learn so much about people from their taste in music. I love film and making movies. I love art, literature, design, poetry, comedy. I love love love sports, anything fun and active. I play soccer, basketball, I dance, I like skiing, haven't tried snowboarding yet.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love daydream nation, inglorious basterds, 500 days of summer, the english patient, wedding crashers, yes man, my favourite books are anything by dan brown, memoirs of a geisha, savages, the hunger games, freakonomics, bill bryson, jane austen. i love the beatles, the rolling stones, fleetwood mac, the strokes, the kooks, lana del rey, arctic monkeys, amy winehouse, the chromatics, the clash, mr. little jeans, arcade fire, the shins, pretty lights, seu jorge, manu chao, clams casino, outkast, azealia banks, phantogram, two door cinema club, bon iver, florence + the machine, the black keys, the civil wars, morning benders, coldplay, kings of leon, the XX, and ra ra riot.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

getting to ride a horse across the egyptian desert with the pyramids as a backdrop and the sun setting on the horizon. one of the most beautiful things i have ever experienced.

Teach, Learn, Share

all i want to do in life is learn. learn languages, cultures, art, science, religion, economics, spirituality, sports, etc. i would really like to learn to surf and become a better cook.
i have taught some english, some german, and how to play the guitar and piano. most of all everything in life should be shared.
