Hi, My name is Meg, I'm 25 and from New Zealand. I'm a relaxed independent person who likes to explore this beautiful planet of ours, try new things, and meet interesting people.
I'm in Spain studying Spanish at uni and its time that I had a look around this place.

PHILOSOPHY

I try to take everything as it comes, not sweat the small stuff, give everyone and everything a chance, and enjoy the little things that are often overlooked.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new to the CS Project but when I get back home I am eager to open the doors to our couch and return the favour. I love to show people around my home because I get to be a tourist in my own backyard and see and appreciate everything through fresh eyes.

Estoy nueva a Couch Surfing pero cuando regrese a Nueva Zealanda quiero abrir las puertas de nuestra casa y devolver el favor. Me encanta mostrar mi ciudad a otras personas porque puedo estar una turista y ver todo por los ojos de un extranjero.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Although not through Couch Surfing, my couch has been visited by friends, and friends of friends from far away places for many years. I am very respectful of people's space, time, things, and lives, and always try to be as little of an inconvenience as possible when I'm staying with other people.

Aunque no fue por Couch Surfing mi sofa ha sido visitado por amigos y amigos de amigos por muchos años. Soy muy respetosa del espacio, el tiempo, las cosas, y las vidas de las personas con quien me quedo.

Interests

Exploring new places, trying new food, getting up high and looking down, walking round and taking photos, passing time with good friends and having a good laugh, music (used to play guitar and piano but now I just appreciate), learning about different cultures and how people live, learning languages, swimming, walking, rock climbing and generally enjoying the great outdoors.

For relaxing at home: Dub, Acoustic stuff, electronica...this is too hard.
What's on my Mp3 at the mo? Red hot chilli peppers, Pendulum, Fat Freddies Drop, Pitch Black, Bloc Party, Muse...

Movies: Crash, Babel, Rec, Juno, Labryinth, Lost in Translation, The long way round, Documentary films, The last of the Living, Transformers, Tremors, Fight Club, Trainspotting, 24hour Party People...

Never been much of a movie fan, but I like movies that twist and keep you guessing, have beautiful cinematography, documentary style, film festival movies etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hitchhiked from England to Morocco and slept under the stars in the Sahara

Teach, Learn, Share

Well I guess there's always English, can teach a few chords on the guitar. I can tell you all about NZ and places I've been if you are planning a hoiday. I can make some delicious cocktails and food from my home.
I would love to learn yoga and try out new instruments, and learn a few phrases in different languages.
