ABOUT ME

Im living in the beautiful state of Florida, around the corner from the University of Florida, where I'm obtaining my nurse practitioner degree. My goal is to become a primary care practitioner. When I'm not working, I enjoy volunteering with a local migrant worker advocacy group. I also enjoy bodyweight exercises, reading, cooking, and anything outdoors.

Update* currently now living in beautiful Sonoma county, about an hour north of San Francisco :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love to travel, and have met couch surfers in Guatemala, Belize, Europe, and Canada :) I would love to meet some more!

I am able to host female visitors to Gainesville, Fl on my pull out couch :) I would love to show you around, and show you where the best southern barbecue is here ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sitting on the top of a boat in the Galapagos Islands was really cool. It is definitely the most beautiful, untouched place I've ever been. (Many animals come right up to you, as they've never learned to become scared of humans. Hiking in the Himalayas of Nepal is a close second.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm always happy to find people to practice speaking new languages with!

I can teach English and some Spanish; the ukulele, and im always happy to have health/ medical related discussions as I have my masters in this subject :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'd be happy to play you a song on the ukulele (which usually travels with me) or teach you how to play! Always willing to do yoga with people! Also, talk about life in Florida, discuss world history, take you out for a drink, help prepare meals and help clean! (I'm a pretty tidy person). I'm hoping to find hosts who are interested possibly in showing me around their hometown, if possible!
