Overview
About Me
I would describe myself as a go-getter and someone who will never let an opportunity slide. I'm always ready to have some fun and embrace adventure and new experiences. Travelling and meeting new people is the best way to do that. I also lived in the Netherlands for two years while studying my masters, which has allowed me to meet many lifelong friends from all over the world.
I'm friendly, outgoing, talkative but also clean and happy to be by myself if I need. Although my paid job is a project manager, I'm a climate activist in my spare time and passionate about the environment, sustainability and social justice. I have a lot of energy to give and I love to give it to the causes I feel the most strongly about.
You'll also find me out and about in nature. From wilding camping, to hiking in the alps or cycling down the croatian coast line, I've been on many active adventures on my holidays. Although I love cities and seeing new cultures, being outdoors in nature always brings the best experiences for me. Nothing beats waking up in a tent with no one else around, watching the sun rise over the horizon. My favourite sports include, running, hiking, rock climbing and cycling.
My other hobbies include cooking, reading and writing stories in my spare time. Although I have never published anything, I have many novels I have written and more still to come.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The best way to experience life is through the people in this world. My favourite part about travelling is meeting new people and getting to know about what makes them tick. It gives me the chance to learn about new places see the world from a new perspective. It's one of the many reasons why I love couchsurfing.
I was a host a few years ago and it allowed me to meet someone wonderful people that I will never forget. My current living circumstances have made it difficult now, but I still want to get the most of of couchsurfing when I travel. The people on this website are lovely.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One summer, me and my boyfriend cycled all the way down the coat of croatia and into Italy, stopping off in Montenegro and Albania on the way. It was hot and hard, but also an amazing adventure. We got to meet so many people and see some amazing views and landscapes. It feels fantastic to use your own power to travel from place to place with everything you need in one bag.
I also spent another summer building a solar installation in a refugee camp. It was an life-changing experience see the way refugees are forced to live. it was hard work putting the system together and solving all the (inevitable) problems that cropped up. However, I made some lifelong friends on that team and I will never get another experience like it. The solar panels are still generating, which made everything worth it!
