About Me

Hello! :) My name is Megan. I am an outgoing, caring, and open-minded 28 year old. My parent's often tell me I have a "bubbly" personality with a big heart. I enjoy spending time with my family/friends, relaxing at the beach, hiking, camping, trying new foods, and playing soccer. I also LOVE dogs! I have worked at a skilled nursing facility as an occupational therapy assistant for the past 5 years and thoroughly enjoy helping others recover and return home. My patients always have the best stories to tell and I am hoping to create new stories of my own by traveling. I have always dreamed about traveling abroad and I am finally making my dream come true! I am incredibly excited and ready to step foot in a new country with an open mind and hoping to make friends along the way.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am open to just about anything! Depends on my mood. But I am always down for oldies ;)
50 & 60's oldies, acoustic, alternative, rock, reggae, rap.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I will always remember a particular patient of mine who suffered from a horrible stroke. He was unable to move the right side of his body including his hand, arm, leg, and foot when I first met him. After several months of rehab and a lot of hard work and dedication he was able to return home and walked out of the facility himself using a hemi-walker. It was incredibly rewarding seeing him progress on a daily basis during therapy and I couldn't take the smile off my face when he gave me a firm hand-shake using his right hand while saying goodbye.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Hopefully I can put a smile on your face, be good company, and share with you all of the local and fun places to visit in California.
