I'm a PhD candidate in Environmental Sciences, a career that lets me spend a lot of time outside, but also challenges me to write, think, and spend even more time in front of a computer.
When I'm not working, I love to share time with my friends both old and new. I sing in a choir here in Durham, NC, and love to play board games, share meals, and have dance parties with friends. On a crisp autumn evening, there's nothing like sharing a great beer outdoors.
I love to learn and to discuss (but prefer not to argue) ideas. I think creativity is important for success. I think we should care about others' rights and well-being, even if we don't see eye to eye.
