I really enjoy traveling, but I think there is a lot to be gained from staying with people who live in the destination. Places are made by more than the infrastructure and history, also by the people who shape the cultural identity.

兴趣

I try to embody sustainability in my life (and often fail). I love being outdoors, I love cooking and eating, especially with friends, and I enjoy most types of exercise (unless it involves me being coordinated with a flying object of any kind).
I love reading, because its one sure way to keep learning

Quit my solid job and moved to Vienna with no source of income. . . . blew up my life again and moved from Germany to California during the pandemic to start my dream PhD
