ABOUT ME

Hi guys!

I'm a third year college student who is just trying to figure things out. I love to travel and am continuing to explore what I'm passionate about and what interests me as I go to school. I'm really looking forward to exploring new places, meeting new people and pushing myself outside of what I'm familiar with.

Currently I'm studying abroad in Madrid, Spain. I'll be in Spain until May, but I'm not sure I ever want to leave!

PHILOSOPHY

I don't have a mantra I recite every morning when I rise or a quote that I have framed on my dresser, but I do believe strongly in a few things. The most important thing I believe is that everything is an experience that you can learn from. Whether it be a good, a bad, or a mundane experience, it will be able to teach you something if you keep an open mind.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've only hosted once, but it was an amazing experience. When I return to the states I hope I can host more! I have met a lot of amazing people through couchsurfing and couchsurfing events.

Music, Movies, and Books

Favorite book? Too difficult to answer. I love to read. I just finished reading "East of Eden" by John Steinbeck and it was... incredible. Right now I'm reading "I Loved You More" by Tom Spanbauer and hoping to read "Don Quixote" next!

Music is much easier. A few of my favorite bands are First Aid Kit and the Head and the Heart. I'm also obsessing over Wet and Hundred Waters right now.

As for movies, I love documentaries (especially about women's rights and animals) and most comedies. I've been binge watching "Louie" for the past few weeks, and "Game of Thrones" is one of my all time favorite shows.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went skydiving for my eighteenth birthday and it was... AMAZING. Unlike anything I've ever experienced.

I like meeting people from all walks of life and from all different corners of the world! I truly love getting to know people who are so different from what is familiar to me that it makes me challenge what I know.
