About Me
Hi, I’m Megan!
I grew up in California and moved to Germany as a teenager, where I was raised in a German-Spanish household. My roots and cultural influences have shaped me into an open and curious person, always eager to connect with others and explore the world from different perspectives.
I studied social pedagogy, but my deep connection to nature and animals has always been a big part of my life. After working in the social field for a few years, I’m now trying to reconnect with that passion. Currently, I’m on a world journey, letting the experiences, places, and people guide me.
So far, my travels have taken me to South Africa, where I spent a significant time in a safari camp doing eco-training – an unforgettable experience! I also explored the Garden Route. Now I’m in Peru and will soon continue to Costa Rica, New Zealand, and Australia. Where will I end up? Who knows – maybe I’ll find a place to settle for a while.
I consider myself a spiritual person, though I don’t like to box it into a specific concept. Meditation plays a big role in my life, and I strive to walk the path of self-realization while also filling life with laughter, kindness, and balance.
I’m excited to meet new people, experience different cultures, and learn from the stories and wisdom of others. Couchsurfing is an amazing opportunity to see the world through the eyes of locals and create meaningful connections. I look forward to sharing stories, learning, and creating memorable moments together.
