I just graduated from UC Berkeley at the beginning of May and recently bought tickets to travel around Europe before I start work in Qatar in September. I love trying new food, meeting new people, and seeing/doing new things - I just love to explore!

It seems like a better way to explore a new city - I love meeting people in hostels but I've heard such great things from my friends who have couchsurfed that I want to try it out!

I honestly enjoy all music - I grew up listening to old country (Johnny Cash, Emmylou Harris) and Atlanta rap (I spent the first 10 years of my life there). Currently, I've been listening to Hozier, Mt. Joy, Ten Fe, Alabama Shakes, Arctic Monkeys, Vance Joy, and Alt-J.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Did research in India - determined the earthquake/landslide hazard for ~25 schools in Aizawl (capital of Mizoram).

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can tell you more than you would ever want to know about earthquakes and rocks. I also love to cook so I can introduce you to proper American southern food.
