I am Megan, a 23-year old who has just finished studying and has decided to travel now that I have lots of time. Last year I was working as a teacher, first as an intern then as a employee. While I loved doing this, I felt like needing a break from studying and working. So far I have really enjoyed traveling, and I am planning on extending my journey a bit. I am a real wine, ballet and music lover and always find meeting new people very interesting.

I discovered how much I love long term travel by traveling South-East Asia, which I am currently doing. I want to discover more places and have decided to do a working holiday in Melbourne, Australia. Can’t wait to discover the best places in this city, but also meet the people from Melbourne. That is why I have decided to couch surf.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love cooking. My specialties include: couscous (salad/tajine), oven trays (orzo, potatoes, rice, anything really), noodles, rice, tacos, burritos, and of course classic Dutch cuisine: stamppot and AVG (potatoes, vegetables, meat). I know how to cook vegan and vegetarian (lots of my friends are vegetarian and I have been vegan in the past).
