Hello! My name is Megan and I'm a 20 year old student from Canada. I grew up in the region of Muskoka, which is about 2 hours north of Toronto. 4 years ago I left the small town scene to go to school at York University in Toronto. My family still lives in Muskoka so I go home for the summers. I love Muskoka because I love being outside and being active. Some of my hobbies include going camping, running, downhill skiing, playing board games and traveling! I have been to a decent number of places around the world, including China, Kenya, the Caribbean, Las Vegas, Arizona and Florida.

I'm always up for a new adventure and I would love to be able to travel the world. As I student, I am unfortunately on a fairly tight budget because of my student loans and my lack of income. I have decided, however, that I don't want to let money be the reason to stop me from traveling, which is why I am so thankful to have gracious people around the world as hosts who are willing to have people such as myself stay in their homes. June-Sept 2016 I will be traveling with my roommate and best friend from school, Anna Campbell, who is an absolutely lovely person. We are looking forward to meeting you!

I enjoy spending time with my family by playing board games, going camping and taking family vacations. I also really enjoy being active. Some of my favourite things to do to stay active are downhill skiing in the winter and going for runs in the summer. I'm really interested in design, which is what I'm currently in school for!

Some of my favourite movies are Titanic, We're the Millers. My favourite books are the Hunger Game series, the Divergent series and John Green books.
