Hi everyone! I'm super excited to be apart of this incredible site. My name is Megan Thompson - 25 year old born and bred Aussie! I have a strong passion for travel & my dream is to travel the world backpacking, volunteering, experiencing & learning as much about different cultures as I can! I am currently planning my round the world trip when we can all get back to international travel - starting with the Kokoda Track in PNG!

When I first heard about Couchsurfing, I thought that it would be a great way to meet a diverse range of people and get shown around the place I'm visiting by a true local! I have only met a couple of people through couchsurfing so far, but I'm very excited to keep meeting people who are addicted to travel as much as I am!

I also enjoy sports, events and festivals, chocolate, music, volunteering and charity work, hanging out with friends, did I say chocolate?, yoga, the beach, and experiencing as much as I can in my lifetime. I'm an adrenaline junkie as well, so anything thrill-seekingly amazing is definitely something I am interested in!

Musica, film e libri

I like a lot of different kinds of music. Mainly just mainstream.. whatever they play on the radio is usually good :)

Movies.. hmm. Well I love to have a good laugh, so funny movies are my favourite. Easy-going, feel good movies are always great to watch. And I can't go past a good Rom-com :)

I enjoy reading travel books, inspiring books and biographies. Eat, Pray, Love 😍 & The Monk who sold his Ferrari. 2 of my favourites.

My life is one big adventure according to me (definitely not as adventurous as those I read about though! But I try ;P), so I believe I have done many amazing things, I can't just pick one. You'll just have to find out when we meet up to explore the city!

I am only young, so I'm sure there will be much more for me to learn, than to teach! But I am really looking forward to sharing traveling moments and experiences with my hosts and guests and hearing everything that they have to share with me!
