Overview
About Me
I truely believe home is where your feet are.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’ve been nomadic for years. Living around the states, backpacking Southeast Asia, making both islands of New Zealand home, minivan-dwelling across the US and Canada.
COVID lead me to work on an organic farm in the mountains of North Carolina living on a bus and hardly ever leaving the premises of the farm. I thrive in nature and it’s easier for me to connect to life in a forest then to a group of people at a restaurant. But alas the encroaching winter hinders my motivation and my love for the ocean calls stronger than ever. I’m slowly moving back to traveling in order to find a place to call home for the next chapter in life. I’m ideally looking to couch surf in some US coastal towns in order to give myself time to seep into the culture. I am happy to offer service in the realm of cooking, gardening, landscaping, teaching yoga... I hope to reconnect to my surf bum mentality of living moment by moment. I hope you’re willing to open your doors to someone who sees all of life as family. If so I can promise to be respectful and share a perspective on life that is full of gratitude.
Interests
Really intense awkward conversations with strangers, receiving text messages, drum circles, food (cooking/eating), bonfires, walking through scary parts of cities alone, dusk in the summertime, relaxing in hotels that I am not staying at, seeing parts of the world that I never knew existed.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was walking on a path in the woods of a music gathering with a friend but the path was super busy at the time so we were really walking in a pack of about 15 people. Everyone was doing their own thing and talking to those they knew. As the group reached a corner a father and his approximately 8 year old daughter turned the corner. The father said: "Alright, lets see if we have the power." and together him and his daughter yelled: "1 2 3 FREEZE" Instantly everyone walking in the group stopped and stood still as they were for at least 8 seconds before the father instructed his daughter to tell us all to "Un-freeze". At this point everyone continued on with walking and talking. The astonishment in the young daughters eyes of having the power to motivate us all to freeze was amazing. I have never been more in love with humanity then at that moment of everyone working together without hesitation to give the young girl a moment of complete astonishment.
