CURRENT MISSION

My mission is currently to work on achieving balance in my daily existence, while absorbing all I can from observation to become a part of whatever environment I'm in.

ABOUT ME

I love working out- running, cycling, yoga, rugby, swimming, the gym generally- and my latest achievement in that regard was a one day trip from Philly to the Jersey shore, which was approximately 80 miles one-way. That rocked, and I felt like a rock star afterwards. I also love animals, and though I can't really own one right now because I'm still a student and thus pretty unstable, I did foster one this summer! She was awesome- Lady, a boxer-pit mix, who is now happily with her new adoptive mommy, but still beloved by her former foster mom. I dig China, if you couldn't tell from my travels, and I fully intend on mastering five languages before I die. It will happen. Other than that...I'm bi, which you should probably know if you're going to offer me your couch. I'm a homebody, generally, mostly because I'm kind of an extroverted introvert- I love talking to people, but I draw my energy from my me-time. Oh, and I'm also an adventurous eater. I love food, of all kinds- so long as they don't have milk in them, as I recently became lactose-intolerent, tragically enough. How I do miss cheese...

I would love to show people around who are couch surfing in the area- local independent coffeehouses are my specialty, and I'm totally willing to sit down and have a drink with someone who's just looking for good company while traveling.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I climbed Tai Shan in the middle of the night so I could see the sun rise at the summit in the morning. Fantastic.
