As I've gotten older I've stopped choosing the absolute cheapest option on the road but that didn't stop me from riding in the back of a cage overland from Ethiopia to Kenya.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiked up a volcano in The Congo to see mountain gorillas, visited tribes in Southern Ethiopia, paddled down a river for three days in Madagascar, sat inside the tombs in The Valley of the Kings and sketched for hours, stayed with faimiles in Pamiri Tajikistan, survived a bad car crash in rural Kyrgyzstan.
