ABOUT ME

I am originally from New Jersey, but have lived in California, Washington, Virginia, North Carolina, and Jamaica, and plan to live abroad again at some point in my life. As for my education, I studied Communication Studies at James Madison University in Virginia and Higher Education Leadership at the University of San Diego. As for my career, I have worked in Human Resources at the Chopra Center and as an Outdoor Educator for Positive Adventures. However, I left these positions to embark on an adventure to Hawaii and have now returned to San Diego and am working at another education company, Quantum Learning Network.

I am someone who is willing to take risks in my life simply because I know it is what my soul desires. I am someone who wants to feel connected to community and create meaningful relationships in my life. I am someone who values and respects all of life regardless of identities and beliefs. I am someone who recognizes the inherent love that exists within everything in the world, even in the unsuspecting places. I am someone who is on a journey to surrender to the truth of who I am and simply live my unique purpose in the world. For as long as I can remember my motto has been: Everything happens for a reason.

I enjoy spending my time at farmer’s markets, TEDx events, and other community-oriented gatherings. I love quality time with my friends and family, dancing, reading, meeting new people, and experiencing new cultures and ways of life.
