CURRENT MISSION

Like every other person on this site, I want to travel. See the world, experience different cultures, taste new foods and just meet interesting people. I don't want to settle into just one spot for a few years. There's too much more out there to learn. I'm going back to school soon to begin my Master's in German and couldn't be more thrilled for the opportunity!

ABOUT ME

I'm pretty laid back. I like to relax and hang out, enjoy life. I've played drums for 16 years, so music is pretty important to me. I've wanted to travel the world since a young age, and I finally get to fulfill some of that dream. I'm kind of a dork but with a lot of passion and ambition to keep me focused. I've always found the German language fascinating, and I'm striving to become fluent. I took a few years off from school after I received my bachelor's degree, and found that settling down just wasn't in the cards for me. I very recently got accepted into a Master's program that spends the first year studying in Salzburg, Austria. I've studied there once before and traveled through parts of Europe, even met my fiancee abroad. It holds a lot of significance in my life so to be able to go back to my favorite place absolutely thrills me!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm looking for a couch anywhere and everywhere! By the beginning of October, I will be able to host in a dorm room in Salzburg, Austria.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I stayed with a very nice Indian couple in Southall, England who showed me some of their religious culture and amazing Indian street food I never thought I would get to experience. I also stayed with a German student in Edinburgh. She showed me some of the less touristy places of the city and where to get the best view. I hope to have many more wonderful experiences with hosts who just want to have a good time and I want to bring some of my own experiences and cultures to the table as well.

Interests

I love to travel and write stories and poetry from my experiences. I play drums, so music is a favorite thing of mine. Oh and cooking! I absolutely love to cook anything and everything, and, naturally, to eat.
