Officially studying how oil spills in sea ice, informally discovering and learning all I can learn from Alaska

ABOUT ME

I'm a curious, open-minded guy, with a well pronounced for outside adventure. I'm spending my free time hiking, telemarking, ski-touring, ... I'm a very active people who can stay quiet a long time. However I do not refuse to slow down, enjoying a nice book, an evening of cooking. I like to meet people around one or several beers, discussing about everything and nothing, confronting thought and ideas, talking about the world and our discoveries,...

I was born in Switzerland, where I grew up, get to university and was hired for my first job. A journey to New-Zealand, Australia and the United Arab Emirates gives me the thirst of discovering and adventure. Back to home, I decide to begin a PhD in Alaska on Sea Ice. At this point, I'm not disappointing by the wilderness of this country. Just amazing.
