Overview
About Me
I'm an open-minded, easy going, creative, reflexive person. I'm in love with life. I love to enjoy all the little details around me, and I'm training myself to do it as much as possible!
I know I'm full of contradictions that I'm willing to explore. I don't like watching news 'cause they make me sad. But I do it sometimes because I think I have to know what's going on, I need to understand my society. I love meeting people from all over the world, but I get confused by how simmilar and how different our points of view can be at the same time! I had those moments that make you feel really alive, and some of them were in a big crowd in a club in the city; some others were in the quietness of nature, being alone.
About my daily life, I have my boring routine, but I like it. I like how laugh can change everything and make it right.
PHILOSOPHY
Face life with a smile. It's the most powerful tool invented!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I was a host a couple of times and I always had great experiences. I think this is a brilliant idea, couchsurfing is a lovely community where you can meet amazing individuals and get to know different cultures and lifestyles.
Interests
I love travelling, get lost and meet different people. Whenever I travel, I like to meet local people and get to know those hidden places that really host the essence of that place. I think the touristic areas and the must-see are ok, but they won't let me understand the lifestyle of people living there, and that's what I'm really interested in!
I enjoy reading, photography, painting, hiking, music and love cinema. As a creative interior design student, I'm fond of anything related to design, cool restaurants, nice shops using curious packagings...
I love outdoors activities; I'm mediterranean so I need some sun to survive! I also like cooking and of course enjoying the meal afterwards!

Music, Movies, and Books
I love almost all kind of music. I admit my musical criteria are pretty poor. I love some songs just because they make me wanna dance/sing, or because they remind me some good moment or someone special...
Movies: Amelie, The Butterfly Effect, Seven Pounds, La vita è bella, Ratatouille, El secreto de sus ojos, American Beauty, Groundhog Day, Braveheart, The game...this is a neverending list! Of course Dirty Dancing and Weekend at Bernie's, which I watched hundreds of times with my sister when we were children!
Some books I read lately (this is also a neverending list!): The God of Small Things, Cold Skin (La pell freda), Pandora in the Congo (Pandora al Congo), Ender's game, The shadow of the wind (L'ombra del vent)...
I'm currently reading "In arabian nights", It's amazing!!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Being in a mountain over the clouds, and suddenly being absorbed by them. Watching a meteor shower or a solar eclipse. Walking barefoot in a great summer storm. A pillow fight in the main center of Barcelona. Dancing until we could barely breath, being inside a cloud of sand, at the pace of djembe drums.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach some Catalan and Spanish which are my mother tongues. Also could try to show how to cook some typical dishes, such as Spanish omelette, pà amb tomàquet, fideuà...but I'll ask you to show me new recipes in exchange! :)
About learning...I'm open minded!
I would be glad to get some photography/video tips.
I had a French course about 10 years ago...so my French knowledge is almost non-existent, but it would be nice if someone could refresh what I learnt! I'm also in love with Italian, I never studied it but it's so simmilar to Catalan and Spanish that it should be easy to learn!
I don't play any instrument, maybe you could teach me, but I'm affraid I'm not very patient! My cousin tried with guitar some time ago and it didn't work...maybe drums?
