Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Well, considering i have only just become a member i don't have any "official" Couch Surfing stories, however i have had the opportunity, or rather the luck, of stumbling upon people who were kind enough to let me crash somewhere relatively cozy. In Konstanz, Germany i may have failed to book ahead, and thus found myself homeless. I went to find a park bench and instead found two lovely people who let me sleep in their attic. We went out, they showed me neat things, it was nice. In Mainz, Germany- i arrived after a 9 hour boat trip down the Rhine, only to find that this apparent Hostel did not exist. After wandering around for an hour and a half with a pack and bag, with a horrid cold, i stumbled across some rather large Aussie flight attendants who took pity on me, took me to dinner, bought me beer and then let me sleep in their air conditioned, fluffy, heaven like Hotel suite. My other experiences at staying at other peoples houses along the way were always good, and always interesting. It definitely gives you the chance at a more authentic look at where you are and the people you're associating with.

Interests

Food, all things food.
Music, movies, reading, singing, dancing, camping, building fires (not in that arson kind of way, promise!), traveling of course, learning, eating eating eating!
