Hello!

I'm beginning my relatively short lifelong dream of that vague notion of traveling. I have fantasized extensively about living out of a backpack or, if I'm lucky, out of a tricked-out van and being able to stay in a given place for as little or as long as seems right. You can tell I'm new to this, right?

For the past year I have been working two jobs, six days a week to save money for this jumping off point. I've worked as a server and as a proofreader/editor most recently after graduating with degrees in Sociology and English,

I've taken every opportunity to speak to travelers, partially to get advice and wisdom from the road, but also because I've never met as good a group of people as those who have been outside of their orwn everyday lives and upbringing.
