Overview
About Me
After growing up in a small town in North Dakota (the Dakota without the presidents' faces on the rock!), I always wanted to get out and explore the world. I got my degree in Tourism & Hospitality, then decided to move to England to work for a year.
It was great, but visas don't last forever, so I moved back to Fargo, ND, (yes, like the movie and TV show), and worked at the Tourism Bureau there.
I've been to 17 (?) countries, mostly in Europe and can't wait to adventure into Asia and South America soon!
I love reading, playing piano, and keeping fit. One day, I hope I live near mountains so I can hike over something other than flat prairieland ;)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Planning to do a round-the-world trip starting in November 2019 and would love to stay with locals and meet people as I go!
Interests
My favorite parts of travel are eating local food, sitting in cafes and people watching, taking walking tours to get to know a city better, and hiking in beautiful landscapes. Meeting locals also tops that list!

Favorite books: The Handmaid's Tale, A Tale of Two Cities, Sapiens

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
On a road trip through the U.S. National Parks, I ran to the bottom of the Grand Canyon and hiked out of it all in the same morning!
