ABOUT ME

I am a fun, welcoming, loving person who really enjoys meeting knew people and exploring new places. College made me a dreamer who wanted to live and educate the poor in Latin America to change the system. Then, the "real life" thing kicked in where I had to pay bills and get a real job. Now, 10 years later I'm bound and determined to get back my passions and begin travelling meaningfully again. By meaningfully, I mean not being a tourist but instead living with locals, understanding the places I'm visiting the way locals do, and learning the language of my host country.

Ever since I can remember I've been drawn to people of different cultures. If you're from somewhere else, I want to know everything about where you come from and the language you speak.

When I'm at home, my favorite thing to do is spend my time with my husband and friends. I have been lucky enough to be surrounded by some very amazing people who are always up for a good time!

I'm new to Couch Surfing and am looking forward to hosting here in Austin, Texas as much as I can! I'm also really excited to start surfing other couches!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Backpacking through Peru was probably the most amazing two weeks of my life...but I'm looking forward to being able to say that about something else in the near future!
