ABOUT ME

I am from a small town in northern lower Michigan called Suttons Bay. I went to University of Michigan and was in the Residential College. After college I tried living in a commune, learning how to farm and worked as a seamstress but ultimately ended up in the Peace Corps. I currently live in the Volta Region of Ghana in west Africa. I have been here for one year and I have one year remaining. I want to do a lot of travelling next year then who knows.

For books... I like Salinger, Hesse, Jensen, Adams, Zinn, Sedaris, biographies, history, social critique, novels, fantasy

Movies... Peggysue Got Married, the Princess Bride, the Sweet and Lowdown, Pulp Fiction, Grosse Point Blank, the Toy... i don't know a bunch more.

I could teach people about traveling around Ghana and the school system here and the arts and crafts. I was to learn more about local art everywhere i go. I want to learn about the best places to travel and the best way to do it.
