ABOUT ME

Hey guys! I just graduated from Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo with a degree in business, marketing. I am now working in San Francisco as a Casting Department Manager at an entertainment company, but I live out of the city in San Jose. Most of my money is going toward a savings account set aside specifically for traveling to Spain and Brazil as soon as possible. Although I have only had the pleasure of seeing a few places out of the US (Ireland was incredible!!) I want to see everything. I am enjoying being single, out of school, and at this point in my life where I can go absolutely anywhere! I am excited to see what comes next, but until then I am certainly enjoying the ride!

PHILOSOPHY

Wake up with a smile on your face and the feeling that you want to jump out of bed and start the day.

I am not exactly at that point yet, but I am trying to get there.

Your don't have to fit 'their' view of happy. I don't want my goals to just be marriage, kids, and a "good career"- I want more. I want to see the things most people only dream about.

Right now I can only offer up a good conversation and something to drink, but I can assure you that as soon as I get a couch to share it will be yours. :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Although I have never had an experience through this site, I have couch surfed a lot in my life. Some of the best nights I have had have been when I was camped out on someone's floor.

In college my roommate, Cristina (the blonde in my pictures), and I had a separate room that we had just for crashers because we lived across the street from a beach and a bar. I think that room always had a least one person passed out in it.

Interests

I am obsessed with travel right now, at least planning for it. I also love movies, sports, friends, adventures, Disneyland, reading. I am trying to teach myself Spanish and the piano right now. I am also about to run my first Marathon on October 19, 2008 in San Francisco-its the Nike's Woman's Marathon.

Music, Movies, and Books

I know I am a dork but I just finished the Twilight series and I absolutely adored it! I also liked: The Kite Runner, Asking for Trouble, Jemima J, A Girls Best Friend, Megera, Season of Passage, One for the Money (and the series that follows), and much more.

Music: I have been exploring web radios recently. I am really into mellow stuff right now, but I have gone through my stages of every kind of music.

Movies:I have to be a girl and say most of my favorite movies are romantic comedies! I love My Best Friends Wedding, Just Married, Guess Who, ect. I also like Moulin Rouge, Dirty Dancing, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Batman Begins, Sense and Sensibility, Troy, Braveheart, Mean Girls, The Notebook, The Little Mermaid, Old School, Big, When Harry Met Sally, and many many more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived in Ireland for three months the summer after my freshman year of high school. I was a spoiled little brat before I left and I came back respectful, reserved, and with a passion for life I had not felt before.

That trip changed my whole outlook on life and I can't even tell you what happened specifically. Ever since then I knew I had to see the world- I can't wait!
