ABOUT ME

I completed a four year jewellery making apprenticeship in Perth, Western Australia before moving to Melbourne to work for another year. I just got home from two and a half years travelling the world, expanding my skills, experiencing new things and generally having a blast! Since leaving aus I have lived and worked in Vancouver for a year, then traveled Canada and the states for a year, visiting every province and over half the states. While in Canada I also discovered the wonderful world of wwoof-ing. I spent the last 8 months meandering around europe and am now back in melbourne to settle into some semblance of 'normal' life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I only discovered CS while travelling and have been so far overwhelmed by the success of the network. I have met some wonderful people and can't wait until I have a couch of my own that I can open to fellow travellers!

Interests

I love trying new things. I am a big reader, interested in all areas of design, particularly photography, architecture and, of course, jewellery. Obviously travel is another big one, so much to see and so little time :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy all genres of movies, except horror. I love to read, will read pretty much anything, but recently I have been going through a classics phase, but that's not to say I won't pick up a trashy romance every now and again.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

During my travels I have seen and done some truly amazing things, but up there in the top three is: spending a week in iceland, trekking in the mountains in bosnia and taking a helicopter over the grand canyon.

Teach, Learn, Share

There are so many things I want to learn, way too many to mention here...

I would love to learn anything any surfers have to offer! and in return I can teach many things: how to play crib, basic jewellery making, how to sew, how to turn an old pair of jeans into shorts or a skirt etc etc
